WHY a process which genes control the production of proteins be called enzyme synthesis?

Why is this important to understand? Basically a statement that summarizes the whole big picture of it relating production of proteins to enzyme synthesisWHY a process which genes control the production of proteins be called enzyme synthesis?
i don't think your question is really correct. Enzyme synthesis is part of 'the process which genes control the production of proteins'. I would call that protein synthesis. Genes determine the configuration and types of proteins synthesized. This is important because many of our metabolic or physiological processes require the presence of proteins such as hormones and enzymes and antibodies.
